FAQ

Q: What does my donation support?
A: When you make a donation to Letters of Victory your donation goes toward stationary, mailing, and other materials needed for writing and mailing letters to those in need of encouragement, inspiration, and hope.

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?
A: At this time, your donation would not be tax deductible because we are not classified/recognized as a 501c(3) non profit organization as of yet but we are working diligently to make sure this happens in a timely manner.

Q: How do I get involved?
A: You can get involved by volunteering to be a Letter Writer, donations, or suggesting any individual, group or organization you feel may benefit from receiving a Letter of Victory.

Q: Will the person(s) receiving the letter know I asked you to send it?
A: No, all letters are sent under Letters of Victory and your information will not be disclosed to the recipient. Our goal is to focus as much as possible on the message of empowerment and victory and not on the messenger.

Q: If I volunteer to become a “Letter Writer” will I have to disclose my name on the letter itself?
A: You do not have to disclose your name and we have taken precautions to make sure each of our “Letter Writers” identities are kept confidential. We do encourage our “Letter Writers” to create a Pen Name they can use to sign the letters. This way their identity is kept confidential while the recipient is still able to receive the personal touch of a hand written letter.
